Released in 2004, Days End was named “Best New Orleans Roots Rock” record by the New Orleans Time-Picayune. “His influences-Dr. John, Randy Newman, Leon Russell, John Fogerty- are obvious. But Gros distills them into his own hearty brew.” Musicians featured on this recording are Tommy Malone (subdudes), Reggie Scanlon (The Radiators) and Kenneth Blevins (John Prine) compose the principal band, with contributions from Dwight Breland, David Doucet and Robert and Candace Mache’ among others.
